Bigg Boss 17 Winner Munawar Faruqui Marries Makeup Artist Mehzabeen Coatwala
Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17, has reportedly tied the knot for the second time. According to Times Now, Munawar married makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala earlier this month. A source revealed, “Yes, Munawar is now married. He wants to keep it under wraps, which is why there are no pictures available.”
The ceremony was an intimate affair, attended only by close friends and family. The couple held their wedding reception at Mumbai’s ITC Grand Maratha on Sunday. Among the guests was Munawar’s friend, actress Hina Khan, who shared a picture from the event on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by the song “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.”
Munawar has a son from his first marriage. In a Bigg Boss 17 episode, he disclosed that he married a girl chosen by his family, but the marriage did not work out. Munawar explained, “I don’t want to talk about her. It just didn’t work out.”
In 2022, during his stint on the reality show Lock Upp, host Kangana Ranaut confronted Munawar with a photo of a woman and a child. He clarified, “I don’t want to discuss this on social media or on a platform like Lock Upp. We have been separated for the past one and a half years. The matter is in court, and I do not want to discuss it. It has been difficult.”
