Drone and Heroin Seized Near India-Pakistan Border in Punjab
In three separate incidents near the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab, authorities seized a drone and two packets of heroin. The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered a broken drone, identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic, from a field in Kalia village, Tarn Taran district, on Friday.
In another incident, BSF troops discovered a 460-gram packet of heroin tied to a small torch in a field near Hardo Ratan village in Amritsar. The operation was launched based on intelligence about the presence of heroin.
Additionally, a 406-gram packet of heroin was found in a field in Sankatara village, Tarn Taran district, on the same day. These seizures highlight ongoing efforts to combat smuggling activities near the border.
