Survivor of UP School Tragedy Recounts Harrowing Escape as Police Arrest Suspects in ‘Human Sacrifice’ Case.
An eight-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras survived an attempted suffocation just days before another child was murdered at the same private school in a suspected ‘human sacrifice’ incident. The chilling events have shocked the community and prompted swift police action.
The survivor, whose identity is protected, revealed that Bhagat, the father of the school’s manager, tried to suffocate him by pinching his nose and choking him. The boy’s grandfather, Surendra, a retired sub-inspector, arrived at the school after receiving a call on September 6 claiming the child had stomach pain. “I noticed marks on his neck, and his eyes were red,” Surendra stated.
The child recounted the terrifying moment: “When people heard the noise and rushed in, I managed to escape.” Days later, tragedy struck when a second boy, a class 2 student, was murdered in his hostel room on September 22. Authorities have linked the motive behind the murder to occult practices, believing the crime was intended to bring “glory and fame” to the school.
Hathras Superintendent of Police, Nipun Aggarwal, confirmed the arrest of five individuals, including the school’s owner and Bhagat. “The child was strangled with the intent of bringing prosperity to the school,” Aggarwal stated.
The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the disturbing case.
