Kangana Ranaut Reveals Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar’s Reactions to Her Movie Rejections

Kangana Ranaut recently opened up about how Bollywood heavyweights like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ranbir Kapoor reacted when she turned down roles in their films. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kangana shared that despite rejecting major films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, and Sanju, the actors hold no grudges against her.

Recalling her interactions with Salman Khan, Kangana revealed that when she declined a role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman was surprised but continued to offer her roles. He even called her for Sultan, playfully challenging her with, “What better role do you want? Heroines get such roles.” Kangana turned down that offer as well.

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, personally visited her home to request that she join the cast of Sanju. Despite his appeal, Kangana opted out of the project.

Akshay Kumar’s reaction was more direct. Kangana recounted how Akshay jokingly confronted her, asking, “You don’t want to work with me, do you have a problem with me?” She assured him that she had no issues, despite having turned down multiple films with him, including Singh Is Bliing.

Kangana emphasized that even though she passed on these high-profile projects, none of the actors harbor any ill feelings. She noted how kind Salman continues to be, often engaging in friendly conversations whenever they meet.

The films Kangana declined went on to become major successes, featuring some of Bollywood’s biggest stars.
