Former Indian Cricketer Vinod Kambli Faces Severe Health Struggles: Video Surfaces
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli is facing significant health challenges, as evidenced by a recent video that surfaced online. In the footage, Kambli is seen struggling to walk and leaning on a motorbike for support. The video, shared by media personality Narendra Gupta, shows Kambli in distress, with a few men coming to his aid shortly after.
Kambli has been open about his ongoing health issues, which include heart problems and depression. He has been hospitalized multiple times over the years, including a heart attack in 2013, which led to an emergency hospitalization at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. In 2012, he underwent angioplasty to treat clogged arteries.
Kambli first gained fame for his record-breaking 664-run partnership with Sachin Tendulkar in a school match in 1988. He made his international debut in 1991 and initially dazzled with impressive performances, including back-to-back double centuries in Test matches against England. However, his career did not fully meet early expectations.
With 104 ODIs and 17 Test matches to his name, Kambli accumulated 2,477 runs in ODIs and over 1,000 runs in Test cricket. Fans and well-wishers hope for his swift recovery and continued support during this challenging period.
