Renowned Indian singer Shaan is set to give a soulful start to the Paris Olympics 2024 with a special performance at the inaugural India House, a venture by Nita Ambani’s Reliance Foundation. The singer expressed his excitement and honor, saying, “It’s a matter of great honor and privilege for me to be there at the inauguration of India House and perform for the entire Indian contingent and all Indians present in Paris to cheer for our athletes.”

Shaan will deliver a 90-minute performance with his band, featuring an unreleased song from the film “Chandu Champion,” composed by Pritam and penned by Kausar Munir. “It’s a very apt song for the occasion, and I’m dedicating it to the Indian delegates,” he shared. The performance will also include a medley of sports and patriotic songs, along with his high-energy hits like “Deewangi Deewangi,” “Dus Bahane,” and “Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe.”

Shaan has a personal connection to the Olympics through his cousins Rahul and Dola Banerjee, who have represented India in archery and will be present as coaches. “Music and sports go hand in hand, playing a significant role in motivation and relaxation,” Shaan remarked. “I believe in fitness and feel I make a good ‘fit’ for the Olympics.”

This will be Shaan’s first opportunity to attend the Olympics in person, and he is thrilled to witness the events live. “We are going to make some special memories this time and aim to increase our medal tally higher than ever before,” he concluded.
