Mirzapur 3 Review: Bloodier Game of Thrones Returns with Stellar Performances

Ali Fazal maintains the lead over Pankaj Tripathi in this blood-spattered season. Returning after four years, the third installment sees Guddu bhaiya (Ali Fazal) and Kaleen bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) in a power reshuffle filled with gore. Despite a weak storyline and predictable highs, the show excels with standout performances and an engaging first half.

The directors, Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, utilize realistic locations and elaborate graphics to depict the expanding Mirzapur universe, covering Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Northern Bihar, and Nepal. Guddu and Golu (Shweta Tripathi Sharma) revel in newfound power, while Kaleen bhaiya grieves his son’s death.

Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, and Anjumm Shharma deliver powerful performances, while Vijay Varma and Anjumm Shharma add depth with dark ambitions and vulnerabilities. Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, and Sheeba Chadha uplift the flat screenplay with emotive performances. Mirzapur 3 masterfully intertwines violence, politics, and betrayal, making it a compelling watch despite its flaws.
