Alia Bhatt Excited for Ranbir Kapoor’s Reunion with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in “Love & War”

Alia Bhatt expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming film “Love & War,” which reunites real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and herself under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In an interview with News18, Alia shared her anticipation for seeing Ranbir collaborate again with Bhansali after many years, highlighting the director’s meticulous attention to detail and his transformative impact on actors.

Scheduled for a 2025 release, “Love & War” also features Vicky Kaushal in a pivotal role, reuniting him with both Alia and Ranbir. Alia emphasized the excitement of working with Bhansali again, following their successful collaboration in “Gangubai Kathiawadi” (2022).

The film marks various reunions—Alia and Vicky Kaushal after “Raazi” (2018), and Ranbir and Vicky after “Sanju” (2018). Ranbir, who started his career as an Assistant Director with Bhansali, will return to the director’s chair where he began his journey in the industry.

Apart from “Love & War,” Alia is also slated to appear in “Jigra” and an untitled YRF Spy Universe film, while Ranbir prepares for the role of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the Ramayana. The anticipation builds for “Love & War,” promising to deliver another memorable collaboration between Bhansali and his talented ensemble cast.
