Mother of Three Converts to Marry Class 12 Student in Amroha

A surprising turn of events from Amroha has sparked widespread attention, where a 26-year-old woman named Shabnam, a mother of three, has married a Class 12 student after converting to another faith. Now known as Shivani, this marks her third marriage.

According to reports, Shivani developed a relationship with the teenager—her neighbour from a different community—following personal difficulties in her second marriage. Her second husband, with whom she shares three daughters, was disabled in a road accident a year ago. Shivani divorced him and left her children in his custody before marrying the 18-year-old student at a local temple.

A panchayat meeting was held recently with both families in attendance. It was mutually agreed that Shivani, being an adult, had the right to make her own decisions. She stated that the marriage was her choice and that she is happy. The teenager echoed similar sentiments, requesting privacy and peace in their new life.
