Zee Punjabi Stars Pay Homage at Shri Anandpur Sahib on Vaisakhi
In celebration of the auspicious festival of Vaisakhi, Zee Punjabi stars from the popular show Sehajveer and “Jawai Ji” visited Shri Anandpur Sahib, a significant shrine for Sikhs, to offer their prayers and pay obeisance. The main cast members, including Jasmeet Kaur, Ramandeep Singh Sur and Vipul Ahuja, from the show “Sehajveer” and “Jawai Ji”, marked the occasion with a heartfelt visit to the holy place.
The actors reflected on the historical significance of Vaisakhi, particularly the founding of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Anandpur Sahib. Jasmeet Kaur, who portrays Sehaj, said, “Vaisakhi is a time to reflect on the cultural roots of Punjab and the formation of the Khalsa Panth. It was on this day that Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave birth to the Khalsa, instilling values of courage, equality, and selflessness. Visiting Anandpur Sahib fills me with a deep sense of gratitude, and I am honored to be part of a show that celebrates these traditions.”
Ramandeep Singh Sur, playing Kabir, expressed, “The sacred environment of Anandpur Sahib offers peace and spiritual enlightenment.
