President Trump Issues Final Warning to Hamas: Release Hostages or Face Consequences

President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Hamas, demanding the immediate release of all remaining hostages in Gaza. In a statement on Truth Social, he declared, “Release all of the hostages now, not later, and immediately return all the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is over for you.” He added that Hamas leadership should leave Gaza while they still have a chance, emphasizing that a “beautiful future” awaits the people of Gaza if hostages are freed.
This statement follows confirmation from the White House that the U.S. recently engaged in direct talks with Hamas in Doha. U.S. Special Envoy for Hostage Affairs Adam Boehler led discussions aimed at securing the release of American hostages and advancing a broader agreement. The talks, conducted with Israel’s consultation, are part of ongoing efforts to extend the January 19 ceasefire, which saw the release of 33 Israeli hostages and five Thais in exchange for 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
Trump reaffirmed unwavering U.S. support for Israel, vowing to send all necessary assistance to “finish the job” if Hamas refuses to comply. “If you do not release the hostages, there will be hell to pay later,” he warned. The administration remains committed to diplomatic efforts, with Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff set to return to the region to negotiate a long-term resolution.
