BSF Foils Infiltration Attempt, Neutralizes Intruder in Pathankot

In a swift and decisive action, alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops foiled an infiltration attempt along the International Border (IB) in Punjab’s Pathankot during the early hours of February 26.

According to officials, BSF personnel stationed at Border Outpost (BOP) Tashpatan detected suspicious movement across the IB. Upon closer observation, an unidentified intruder was spotted attempting to cross into Indian territory.

Despite repeated warnings from the troops, the intruder continued advancing. Sensing a potential security threat, the BSF personnel took necessary action and neutralized the infiltrator.

Authorities are working to establish the identity and intent of the intruder. The incident underscores the heightened security vigilance along the border, with forces maintaining a strict watch to prevent any illegal activity.

In response to the infiltration attempt, the BSF has confirmed that a strong protest will be lodged with the Pakistan Rangers. The security forces remain on high alert to ensure the safety and integrity of India’s borders.
