Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, and Remo D’Souza Receive Death Threats, Mumbai Police Steps In
Bollywood stars Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra have allegedly received death threats traced to Pakistan. An email signed by a sender named “BISHNU” warned of monitoring their activities and urged the message to be taken seriously.
The threat specifically targeted Kapil Sharma and his team, citing his show’s association with Salman Khan. The email, received by Rajpal Yadav on December 14, 2024, prompted his wife to file a police complaint at Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station.
A case has been registered under section 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, addressing harm threats. Mumbai Police has traced the IP address to Pakistan and is seeking government assistance to correspond with the authorities there. Security has been enhanced for the stars.
Kapil Sharma, a celebrated comedian and actor, is renowned for his hit shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. Rajpal Yadav, famous for his comic versatility, was recently seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
