Arvind Kejriwal Slams PM Modi’s ‘AAPda’ Remarks, Counterattacks with 3-Point Critique
In a sharp rebuttal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister, launched a three-point counteroffensive. Modi had accused AAP of corruption and labeled the party as “AAPda” (disaster) during the inauguration of a housing project in Delhi.
Kejriwal responded by asserting that the real disaster lies within the BJP. He pointed out the absence of a Chief Ministerial face in the BJP, the party’s lack of a narrative for Delhi, and its failure to present a clear agenda for the upcoming Delhi elections.
Addressing PM Modi’s criticism over alleged scams, Kejriwal highlighted the BJP’s unfulfilled promises, particularly in housing. He reminded Modi of the 2020 BJP manifesto, which promised pucca houses for all in Delhi by 2022. Kejriwal stated that in the five years since, only 4,700 homes have been handed over, a far cry from the promises made.
Kejriwal also took a dig at Modi’s reference to building a “sheeshmahal,” pointing out the Prime Minister’s personal lavish spending, including a Rs 2,700 crore house and Rs 8,400 crore plane.
With these pointed remarks, Kejriwal further questioned the BJP’s credibility in Delhi, asserting that the party’s attacks on AAP were rooted in its own failures.
