BJP Takes a Bhool Bhulaiyaa Twist to Mock Arvind Kejriwal.
  • PublishedDecember 31, 2024

The BJP has ramped up its campaign rhetoric with a fresh jibe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, giving a cinematic twist to their critique. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the Delhi BJP shared a poster inspired by the Bollywood film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” portraying Kejriwal in a satirical light.

The poster depicts Kejriwal adorned with rudraksha beads, flower garlands, and a body covered in vermilion, with incense sticks humorously tucked behind his ears. The tagline boldly reads, “Chunavi Hindu,” suggesting that Kejriwal’s religious appearances are mere election tactics.

The BJP’s post accuses Kejriwal of adopting a newfound religious persona ahead of elections to appeal to the Hindu electorate. The accompanying caption in Hindi translates to, “Beware of those who remember religion only during elections.”

The move has sparked a buzz on social media, with supporters and critics alike weighing in on the BJP’s creative approach. While some found the poster amusing and effective, others criticized it as an unnecessary personal attack.

Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have yet to officially respond to the mockery. However, AAP leaders have previously defended their leader’s religious practices as genuine expressions of faith, dismissing BJP’s allegations as baseless.

As the Delhi elections draw closer, the war of words between BJP and AAP intensifies, with both sides leveraging creative and controversial strategies to sway voters.
