This time, the story picks up after the tragic passing of Bridget’s husband, Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth), who died on a humanitarian mission in Sudan. Bridget, now a widow and mother to 9-year-old Billy and 4-year-old Mabel, is searching for companionship once again.
