Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Reviews Yadagirigutta Temple Development, Announces New Initiatives.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a review meeting to accelerate the development of the Yadagirigutta Temple in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district. Emphasizing the temple’s cultural and spiritual significance, he announced the formation of a dedicated Yadagirigutta Temple Board, modeled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, to oversee management and enhancement efforts.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to expedite the gold plating work on the Vimana Gopuram, aiming for its completion before the temple’s Brahmotsavam celebrations next year. Additionally, he emphasized the need for facilities allowing devotees to stay overnight on the hill and ordered a special policy to protect cows in the temple’s cowsheds.
Revanth Reddy also addressed the importance of completing pending land acquisitions for temple expansion, directing officials to allocate the necessary funds for this purpose. He requested a comprehensive report detailing the remaining work and associated issues to ensure efficient planning and execution.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister mandated the official renaming of “Yadadri” to “Yadagirigutta” in all government records and called for its consistent use in daily communication.
These steps reflect the Telangana government’s commitment to elevating Yadagirigutta Temple’s infrastructure and services, enhancing the experience for devotees and preserving the site’s spiritual heritage.
