Venom: The Last Dance, starring Tom Hardy in his iconic role as Eddie Brock and his symbiotic alter-ego Venom, has achieved remarkable global success, grossing $317 million in its first two weeks. The film, reportedly the final chapter of the Venom franchise, has captivated audiences with its unique blend of action and dark humor.
Of the $317 million total, $227 million came from international markets, while domestic earnings contributed $90 million. This impressive box office performance underscores the enduring popularity of the Venom series, following the first film’s 2018 global gross of $856 million and the 2021 sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which earned $506 million.
In its review, India Today Digital awarded the film three stars, praising Hardy’s dual-role performance as “terrific” and highlighting the film’s captivating special effects and action sequences, including a memorable scene with Eddie riding a Venom-inspired horse. However, it noted that while co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple delivered strong performances, their characters were somewhat limited by the writing.
As Venom: The Last Dance continues its theatrical run, fans worldwide are flocking to witness Hardy’s powerful portrayal and the high-stakes conclusion to the beloved franchise. The film is now playing in cinemas internationally.
