Sebastian Stan Undergoes Intense Transformation to Portray Donald Trump in The Apprentice.

Acclaimed actor Sebastian Stan, known for his role as the Winter Soldier in Captain America, is set to take on the iconic role of Donald Trump in Ali Abbasi’s upcoming film, The Apprentice. The film, which delves into Trump’s early business years, showcases Stan’s incredible dedication to his craft, having undergone a major transformation both physically and vocally to capture Trump’s persona.

In a recent interview, Stan shared the rigorous preparation process for the role. “I had 130 videos on his physicality on my phone, and 562 videos covering different time periods from the ’70s to today,” Stan explained. To embody Trump, Stan meticulously studied his speech patterns and body language, often improvising entire scenes under Abbasi’s direction.

Stan’s preparation extended to his physical appearance as well, gaining 15 pounds in two months to reflect Trump’s evolving stature. He worked on adapting his speech, learning to mimic Trump’s distinct mouth movements and consonant emphasis without turning it into a parody.

The Apprentice promises to offer a compelling look at Trump’s formative years as a businessman, with Stan’s performance already generating significant buzz. This role follows Stan’s critically acclaimed performance in A Different Man, for which he won the top acting prize at the Berlin Film Festival.

The Apprentice is set to be one of the most anticipated films of the year, showcasing Stan’s impressive range and commitment to his characters.
