Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Reveals Fan Once Disguised as Maid to Stay at Their Home for 20 Days.

Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, recently shared an intriguing story about a fan who went to extraordinary lengths to be close to the star. During an appearance on the podcast Timeout With Ankit, Sunita revealed that in the 1990s, a young woman, who was the daughter of a minister, posed as a housemaid and lived in their home for 20 days.

Sunita recounted, “She stayed with us for around 20–22 days. I noticed she seemed out of place and told my mother-in-law she didn’t know how to do house chores properly.” Sunita’s suspicions grew, leading her to conduct a background check, which eventually revealed the woman’s true identity. “She confessed to being a huge fan of Govinda. Her father later arrived with four cars to take her back.”

Govinda, a Bollywood icon with over 165 films to his credit, enjoys a strong fan following, especially during his peak in the 1990s. Known for his acting, dancing, and comedic roles, he remains a beloved figure in Indian cinema. Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, who married in 1987, have two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja.
