Amit Shah Criticizes Rahul Gandhi for “Anti-India” Remarks Abroad.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has strongly condemned Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for making what he termed as “anti-India” and “anti-national” remarks during his recent visits abroad. Shah asserted that Gandhi’s statements not only jeopardize national security but also expose the Congress party’s divisive politics.
Addressing the issue on social media, Shah stated, “Standing with forces that conspire to divide the country and making anti-national statements have become a habit for Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party. Whether it is supporting the JKNC’s anti-national and anti-reservation agenda in J&K or making anti-India statements on foreign platforms, Rahul Gandhi has always threatened the nation’s security and hurt sentiments.”
The Union Home Minister emphasized that Gandhi’s remarks reveal a deeper agenda within the Congress party aimed at fostering division within India along lines of regionalism, religion, and linguistic differences. Shah’s criticism comes in response to Gandhi’s recent speeches in the United States, where he reportedly made comments that were perceived as critical of India’s domestic policies and governance.
Shah urged the Congress leader to refrain from making such statements, especially on international platforms, where they could be misinterpreted and potentially harm India’s image and interests globally.
The controversy has sparked widespread debate, with BJP leaders rallying behind Shah’s comments and calling for accountability from the Congress party regarding Gandhi’s statements.
