Tamannaah Bhatia Praises SS Rajamouli’s Unmatched Guidance During ‘Baahubali’.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently shared her admiration for acclaimed director SS Rajamouli during an episode of Raj Shamani’s podcast. Reflecting on her experience working with him in the iconic Baahubali films, Tamannaah revealed how Rajamouli’s dedication and expertise greatly influenced her performance.

Tamannaah, who played a pivotal role in both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, expressed her awe for Rajamouli’s hands-on approach. “He is unreal. His ability to craft commercial films with deep emotional resonance is remarkable,” she said. Tamannaah highlighted Rajamouli’s emphasis on human and animal relationships, a recurring theme in his films, and praised his storytelling prowess.

Anecdotes from the Baahubali set showcased Rajamouli’s meticulous nature. Tamannaah recounted how the director personally taught her to use a bow, arrow, and sword—skills she had never attempted before. “I had come straight from another shoot in Switzerland and had no prep time. Rajamouli sir taught me everything on set. His pre-production work is next level,” she added.

Tamannaah also noted that Rajamouli rehearses every scene, including action and dance sequences, before the actors perform, ensuring perfection. His use of VFX, even before it became widely recognized, further exemplifies his visionary approach to filmmaking.

Tamannaah, who was the last actor cast in Baahubali, credited Rajamouli for her successful portrayal of the character despite limited training time. She is now eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming Telugu film, Odela 2.
