The woman was reportedly punished for complaining about being sexually harassed by her nephew, Raja Nath.

According to the victim, the violence occurred after she approached her nephew’s house to complain about his ongoing harassment. Instead of addressing the issue, her husband and his family members turned on her, subjecting her to this horrific punishment.
The Kannauj police have arrested six people in connection with the incident, including the woman’s husband. Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand confirmed that an investigation is underway, and the authorities are taking the matter very seriously.
