Disturbing new photos have surfaced showing the final moments of 33-year-old auto driver Renukaswamy, who was brutally murdered in June. The images, obtained by India Today TV, depict Renukaswamy shirtless, visibly injured, and pleading for his life. Parked trucks can be seen in the background, underscoring the harrowing scene just before his death.
Renukaswamy, a devoted fan of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, was allegedly killed at the actor’s behest after reportedly sending offensive messages to actress Pavithra Gowda, rumored to be Darshan’s partner. His body was discovered near a flyover in Bengaluru on June 9, 2024.
The police investigation revealed that Renukaswamy was kidnapped, tortured, and beaten with wooden clubs, ultimately succumbing to multiple blunt injuries, as detailed in the post-mortem report. The report also indicated severe physical abuse, including a ruptured testicle and electric shocks.
In connection to the murder, 15 individuals, including Darshan and Pavithra Gowda, have been arrested. The actor’s judicial custody is set to expire on September 9, 2024. The chargesheet, recently submitted by the Bengaluru Police, includes 230 pieces of evidence, notably blood stains found on Darshan’s clothing and Pavithra Gowda’s footwear.
