Mumbai Entrepreneur Hospitalised After Embracing ‘Hustle Culture,’ Warns Others of the Dangers
Kritarth Mittal, a 25-year-old Mumbai-based entrepreneur and founder of the Soshals app, was recently hospitalised due to the severe toll that a relentless work schedule and unhealthy lifestyle took on his health. Mittal’s experience serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with “hustle culture.”
Mittal, who has been navigating the demanding world of tech entrepreneurship, shared his ordeal on social media platform X, where he posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed along with a heartfelt warning to others. In his post, Mittal detailed how his lifestyle choices—including pulling all-nighters, getting less than five hours of sleep per night, and neglecting a healthy diet—led to his health scare.
“Hustle culture comes with a cost — some you incur right away and some over decades. The choice is yours,” Mittal wrote, highlighting the long-term consequences of such a lifestyle.

Choice is yours, I'm just here to show you the ugly side of it so you don't get swayed easy.

Reflecting on his past, Mittal admitted that his unhealthy routine started in college and persisted into his professional life, but his body has now begun to rebel against this unsustainable lifestyle. Determined to make a change, he has committed to setting up a healthier routine that includes a proper diet and adequate sleep.
Mittal’s story is a powerful reminder that while the hustle culture may glorify constant productivity, it often comes at the expense of one’s health, a cost too high to ignore.
