Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan has officially joined the cast of Netflix’s highly anticipated ‘Peaky Blinders’ feature film. Known for his standout roles in ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ and the recent hit ‘Saltburn,’ Keoghan’s involvement adds even more star power to the project, which already boasts series lead Cillian Murphy and acclaimed actress Rebecca Ferguson.

Directed by Tom Harper, the ‘Peaky Blinders’ film marks the continuation of the beloved BBC drama that captivated audiences over six seasons, concluding in 2022. The series followed the rise of Tommy Shelby, portrayed by Murphy, a complex and ruthless gang leader in post-World War I Birmingham. The show’s gripping narrative and ensemble cast, including Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, and Anya Taylor-Joy, led to widespread critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase.

Cillian Murphy expressed his excitement about returning to the role of Tommy Shelby, stating, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of ‘Peaky Blinders.’ This one is for the fans.”

While details about Keoghan’s role remain under wraps, his addition to the cast heightens anticipation for the film, which promises to deliver another thrilling chapter in the ‘Peaky Blinders’ saga.
