No Remorse, No Conscience: The Chilling Psychoanalytic Profile of Kolkata Rape-Murder Accused Sanjay Roy
Sanjay Roy, the main accused in the horrific rape and murder of a Kolkata doctor, has shown an alarming lack of remorse, according to a psychoanalytic profile. The CBI, investigating the case, revealed that Roy is a “pervert” with an “animal-like instinct” and a severe addiction to pornography. Throughout his interrogation, Roy narrated the gruesome crime without hesitation or regret.
The victim, a doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, was brutally attacked in the hospital’s seminar hall during her 36-hour shift. The post-mortem report revealed she was raped, severely beaten, and strangled, with a total of 25 injuries. Roy was arrested shortly after, with CCTV footage and other evidence placing him at the crime scene.
The investigation has uncovered disturbing details about Roy, including the discovery of multiple pornographic clips on his phone. The CBI is also exploring the possibility of a larger conspiracy and has questioned several individuals, including former college principal Dr. Sandip Ghosh. Allegations of financial misconduct and involvement in the “business of dead bodies” have also surfaced against Ghosh.
Authorities are considering polygraph tests on Roy, Ghosh, and others as the investigation continues to unravel the layers of this chilling case.
