She condemned Trump for his apparent admiration of dictators, including North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and Russia’s Vladimir Putin, declaring, “I will not cozy up to tyrants and dictators.”
Harris argued that Trump’s public praise for these leaders shows he is easily manipulated by flattery, asserting, “They know Trump won’t hold autocrats accountable because he wants to be an autocrat himself.” She emphasized her commitment to standing firmly with NATO, supporting Israel’s right to defend itself, and protecting Ukraine.
In response, Trump took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock Harris by posting a report card of the Biden-Harris administration, blaming them for ongoing conflicts like the Israel-Hamas and Russia-Ukraine wars. He also reiterated his claim that these wars would not have happened under his leadership and boasted that he could end the Russia-Ukraine conflict within 24 hours if re-elected.
Harris countered by labeling Trump an “unserious man” whose return to the White House would have serious consequences for the nation. She declared, “This election is not only the most important of our lives, it is one of the most important in the life of our nation,” vowing not to turn back.
Harris’s speech was met with praise on social media, with some users likening her to former President Obama, while others criticized her administration for allegedly bringing the world closer to conflict.
