Saif Ali Khan Set to Return in ‘Race 4’ as Franchise Gets a Reboot

The much-loved Bollywood thriller franchise Race is gearing up for a comeback with Saif Ali Khan returning to the lead role in Race 4, tentatively titled Race Reboot. The new installment is slated to begin production in the first quarter of 2025, marking a return to the franchise’s original style and energy.

Following the mixed reception of Race 3, which featured Salman Khan and was directed by Remo D’Souza, producer Ramesh Taurani is set to reboot the franchise with Saif Ali Khan, who starred in the first two Race films. According to reports, Saif has signed on for Race 4 and is enthusiastic about revisiting the world of Race.

A source close to the project revealed, “Saif Ali Khan has been in discussions with Ramesh Taurani for some time, and they have agreed to bring back the franchise with Race 4. Saif is excited to return, and Ramesh aims to start filming in early 2025.”

While the core story for Race 4 is reportedly in place, the makers are currently developing the screenplay and seeking a new director to helm the project. The original Race films were directed by Abbas-Mustan, and the upcoming film will aim to capture the essence of their vision.

The casting process is underway, and further announcements are expected soon. The return of Saif Ali Khan promises to reignite the thrill and excitement that fans loved in the earlier installments.
