Singer-actor Nick Jonas recently opened up about his family, sharing insights into fatherhood, his admiration for his wife Priyanka Chopra, and whether their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas might follow in their footsteps in the entertainment industry.
During the screening of his upcoming film The Good Half, Nick praised Malti’s vibrant personality and acknowledged the possibility of her joining the industry. “She could,” Nick remarked. “She’s certainly full of personality. We’ve both been in this industry for so long and while it’s a wonderful field, it’s also a wild ride. We want her to take her time making that decision, and we’ll guide her every step of the way.”
Nick also highlighted Priyanka’s support for his latest project. “She saw an early cut of the movie about a year ago and gave some tiny notes that made a big difference. She’s a brilliant actor and producer, and I trust her opinion implicitly,” he said with a smile, adding, “She is so beautiful.”
Nick reflected on the joys and challenges of parenthood, especially the need to be mindful of what they say around Malti, who recently went viral for saying “Oh my God” in a video Nick shared on Instagram.
Nick’s upcoming film The Good Half is a comedy-drama directed by Robert Schwartzman, also starring Brittany Snow, David Arquette, and Alexandra Shipp.
