In a recent Instagram video shared with her 658,000 followers, Peixoto is seen spreading faeces across her face, claiming it helps prevent aging. To combat the smell, she uses a clothespin to pinch her nose, leaving the mask on for several minutes before washing it off, boasting about her “glowing skin” afterwards.

Peixoto’s unconventional routine, which follows her previous use of menstrual blood as a skin treatment, has garnered severe criticism from both the public and medical experts. Dr. Sophie Momen, a consultant dermatologist at London’s Cadogan Clinic, expressed concern over the trend, emphasizing that there is no scientific evidence supporting the use of faeces for skincare. She warned that such practices could lead to bacterial and viral infections, food poisoning, and severe skin irritation.
Plastic surgeon Mr. Tunc Tiryaki echoed these warnings, highlighting the presence of harmful pathogens in faeces, such as E. coli and Salmonella, which could cause serious infections if introduced to the skin. He strongly advised against such practices, urging people to rely on safe, scientifically-backed skincare products.
Social media users have also reacted with disgust, with one critic commenting, “This is why aliens don’t talk to us.” The incident has raised concerns about the extremes some influencers will go to for attention.
