‘Stranger Things 5’: Saddie Sink Teases Max’s Comeback

The fourth season of Stranger Things left fans heartbroken as Max, played by Sadie Sink, was left in a coma. In a recent interview with Variety, Sink hinted at a significant change for her character in the upcoming fifth season.

Sink, who started filming the series at age 14, has been working extensively on the final season in Atlanta. She teased that Max might play a more active role than just lying in bed. “They love having me run,” Sink said, hinting at exciting developments. Matt Duffer, co-creator of the series, confirmed that Max will indeed have a substantial role, though details are still under wraps. “She’s going to play a part in the season, but we don’t want to reveal how,” Duffer said.

Duffer also praised Sink’s acting, noting her growth and emotional depth in recent scenes. “I think she’s grown more confident as an actor,” he said, describing a recent heartbreaking scene.

Sink admitted that the production has been intense, remarking, “I’ve been working all of last week, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I forgot how hard this show is’.”

Max first appeared in Season 2 but played a major role in Season 4, where she was attacked by the villain Vecna and fell into a coma. Fans are eager to see how her story will unfold in the final season.

The release date for Stranger Things Season 5 is yet to be announced, but it is expected to premiere next year on Netflix.
