Akshay Kumar Visits Haji Ali Dargah, Contributes ₹1.21 Crore for Renovation
Akshay Kumar has demonstrated his commitment to community service with a generous donation of ₹1.21 crore towards the renovation of the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai. On his recent visit, Kumar was warmly welcomed by Mr. Suhail Khandwani, Managing Trustee of the Haji Ali Dargah Trust, and his team.
“With the Haji Ali Dargah’s renovation underway, Padmashri Akshay Kumar, a true Mumbaikar, responded with great warmth and devotion. He generously contributed ₹1,21,00,000 towards the renovation expenses. We are deeply grateful for his support and offer our prayers for the departed souls of his parents, Late Aruna Bhatia and Late Hari Om Bhatia. Our prayers extend for the prosperity of our country and the maintenance of peace and harmony,” stated Mohammad Ahmed Taher, Administrative Officer of Haji Ali Trust.
In addition to his philanthropic gesture, Kumar has previously been seen serving food to people on the streets of Mumbai, a video of which has garnered widespread attention on social media.
Akshay Kumar is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Khel Khel Mein, set for an Independence Day release on August 15. The film, featuring Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, and Fardeen Khan, will face competition from Stree 2 and Vedaa at the box office.
