‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Crosses Rs 100 Crore in India in Just 10 Days, Sets New Box Office Records
Marvel’s latest blockbuster, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian box office within just 10 days of its release. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the film has rapidly climbed the charts to become the 12th highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time in India.
According to trade website Sacnilk, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ amassed Rs 109.65 crore nett after its second weekend. The week-by-week breakdown is as follows:
Week 1: Rs 89.9 crore
Friday: Rs 4.25 crore
Saturday: Rs 7.5 crore
Sunday: Rs 8 crore
Total: Rs 109.65 crore
The film’s robust performance has it on track to surpass the lifetime collections of other Hollywood hits like ‘Fast-X’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,’ potentially positioning it as the 10th highest-grossing Hollywood film in India.
