Priyanka Chopra Praises Nick Jonas’ Performance in ‘The Good Half’.
Los Angeles, August 3, 2024 – Global superstar Priyanka Chopra has shared her excitement for her husband Nick Jonas’ upcoming film, ‘The Good Half’. Taking to Instagram, Chopra posted the trailer and expressed her admiration for Jonas’ performance.
“Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful, poignant, touching movie with incredible performances,” Chopra wrote on Instagram. “I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one. ‘The Good Half’ coming to theatres near you on August 16th!!”
‘The Good Half’, written by Brett Ryland and directed by Robert Schwartzman, tells the story of Renn Wheeland (Nick Jonas), who returns to his hometown of Cleveland for his mother’s funeral. While there, Renn forges new relationships and heals old ones, before confronting his problems and facing his grief. The film features an ensemble cast including Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh, and Elisabeth Shue.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 8, 2023, where it received positive reviews for its heartfelt narrative and strong performances.
In addition to her support for Jonas, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy filming ‘The Bluff’ in Australia, alongside Karl Urban from ‘The Boys’. She is also set to star in the upcoming film ‘Heads of State’, featuring Idris Elba and John Cena.
