Sena Stands with Rahul: Opposition Unites Amid ED Raid Speculation

Amid allegations from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid is being orchestrated against him, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi expressed strong solidarity. Speaking on behalf of the opposition INDIA bloc, she warned that any attempt by the agency to target Gandhi would be met with firm resistance from all alliance partners.

Chaturvedi criticized the ruling BJP for allegedly misusing central agencies to target opposition leaders, highlighting that the people are closely observing these actions. She emphasized that despite the BJP’s failure to learn from recent election results, the opposition stands united in defending democratic values.

Rahul Gandhi’s claim came after his critical ‘Chakravyuh’ speech in Parliament, where he accused the BJP of creating a modern-day ‘Chakravyuh’—a complex trap entrapping various segments of society, including youth, women, and small businesses. In a post on X, Gandhi suggested that insiders had informed him about the planned raid, to which he responded defiantly, offering “chai and biscuits” to the ED officials.

He also named six individuals, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, as the architects of this ‘Chakravyuh.’ Despite being disallowed from naming four others in Parliament, Gandhi later identified them as Adani, Ambani, Ajit Doval, and Mohan Bhagwat, accusing them of controlling India’s destiny.
