Mumbai, August 2, 2024 – The screening of Janhvi Kapoor’s latest film, Ulajh, turned into an unforgettable event last night as veteran actor Rekha attended and showed her affectionate support. The star-studded event in Mumbai saw Rekha, dressed in her signature silk saree, embracing and kissing Janhvi Kapoor, creating a heartwarming moment that won over social media.
Rekha, visibly impressed by Janhvi, was seen kissing the poster of Ulajh at the entrance before showering Janhvi with love and blessings. The videos of Rekha hugging and kissing Janhvi on the head quickly circulated on social media, drawing admiration from fans who noted the veteran actor’s motherly affection towards the young star. Comments like “Rekha ji aaj Sridevi ji ki tarah se Janhvi ko pyar aur aashirwad dene aayi hai” (Rekha is here to bless Janhvi like Sridevi) and “Rekha ji showered love on Janhvi just like Sridevi ji” highlighted the bond Rekha shares with Janhvi, the daughter of the late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor.

Ulajh, which releases today, stars Janhvi Kapoor alongside Gulshan Devaiah, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, and Roshan Mathew. The film will face competition from Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, also releasing today.
