Jharkhand, August 1, 2024 — A young girl from Jharkhand, who had been missing for three months, was recently discovered living in a cave and displaying unusual, snake-like behavior. The girl was found inside the Ranidih Gupta Cave in Kariwadih village, Garwah district. Upon discovery, she was observed flicking her tongue and slithering on the ground, which drew significant attention from the local community.
According to reports, the girl’s family initially struggled to locate her within the cave. They resorted to performing kirtan (holy songs) and a puja to coax her out of hiding. The situation attracted a large crowd of onlookers, eager to witness the unusual behavior firsthand.
A video capturing the incident has gone viral, showing the girl mimicking snake-like movements and flicking her tongue. By the end of the video, she appears to have calmed down, standing normally as her family prays before taking her home.
