July 29, 2024-Apple has announced a significant price reduction for its current range of iPhones in India, following a reduction in import duties on components from 20% to 15%, as announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This price cut spans various models, offering Indian customers savings of up to Rs 6,000.
The models seeing a price drop include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and iPhone SE. The price reductions are as follows:
iPhone SE: Reduced from Rs 49,900 to Rs 47,600, a decrease of Rs 2,300.
iPhone 13: Reduced from Rs 59,900 to Rs 57,600, a decrease of Rs 2,300.
iPhone 14: Reduced from Rs 69,900 to Rs 69,600, a decrease of Rs 300.
iPhone 14 Plus: Reduced from Rs 79,900 to Rs 79,600, a decrease of Rs 300.
iPhone 15: Reduced from Rs 79,900 to Rs 79,600, a decrease of Rs 300.
iPhone 15 Plus: Reduced from Rs 89,900 to Rs 89,600, a decrease of Rs 300.
iPhone 15 Pro: Reduced from Rs 1,34,900 to Rs 1,29,800, a decrease of Rs 5,100.
iPhone 15 Pro Max: Reduced from Rs 1,59,900 to Rs 1,54,000, a decrease of Rs 5,900.
In addition to these price cuts, Apple plans to begin manufacturing the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in India for the first time, expanding its local production efforts.
These revised prices will soon be reflected on the Apple India website and across various online and offline retailers, making premium iPhones more accessible to Indian consumers.
