Celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar marks the first anniversary of his hit film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ today. Released on July 28, 2023, the film starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh revived Bollywood last year with its compelling narrative and stellar performances.
In a heartfelt message, Karan Johar expressed his gratitude: “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani turns 1 today – and I am so heppy so heppy! I am humbled and grateful for the immense love this film has received. The film celebrated Hindi cinema, and I’m honored to have worked with such a remarkable cast and crew. @ranveersingh and @aliaabhatt have my heart forever! They made my job so easy! Love you both from the last life.”
Johar also extended his appreciation to the film’s veteran stars, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. “Honored to have directed Jaya aunty again. Love you so much aunty J! Privileged to have legends @azmishabana18 ji and @aapkadharam ji.”

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ grossed Rs 153.60 crore in India and is currently streaming on Prime Video. The film remains a beloved piece of cinema, celebrated for its entertaining yet socially poignant narrative.
