Hollywood Stunt Director Nick Powell Commends Janhvi Kapoor’s Dedication in Upcoming Espionage Thriller ‘Ulajh’
Renowned Hollywood stunt director Nick Powell, celebrated for his work on iconic films such as ‘Gladiator’, ‘The Bourne Identity’, and ‘The Last Samurai’, has expressed admiration for Janhvi Kapoor’s dedication and performance in the highly anticipated espionage thriller ‘Ulajh’. The film, which also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyang Chang, showcases intense action sequences choreographed by Powell.
Powell spoke about the challenges of training Janhvi for her role, stating, “Janhvi is so feminine, and making her perform action sequences where she appears to be punching and hurting people—albeit out of fear and not with deliberate intent—was difficult. Her commitment to mastering these sequences was remarkable.”
Janhvi Kapoor, who plays Suhana, an IFS officer in ‘Ulajh’, highlighted the unique nature of her character’s training. “People often misunderstand the role of IFS officers, thinking it involves hard combat training like other positions. IFS training focuses more on diplomacy, international relations, and strategic thinking using words. Through ‘Ulajh’, I gained insight into the skill sets required for an IFS officer. While I didn’t undergo combat training, Nick Powell ensured the action sequences were authentic and true to my character’s diplomatic nature.”
‘Ulajh’ promises to be a gripping tale of espionage, with a blend of action and strategic diplomacy. The film’s authenticity and intense action sequences, brought to life by Janhvi Kapoor’s performance and Nick Powell’s expertise, are set to captivate audiences worldwide.
