Jio Cinema Requests Cyber Crime Unit to Investigate Manipulated Video of Bigg Boss OTT 3 Stars Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik
Jio Cinema has taken a firm stance against the circulation of an alleged intimate clip featuring Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik. The streaming platform has declared the video as doctored and vowed to take necessary actions to identify the individuals responsible for the manipulated content. In response to this malicious act, Jio Cinema has filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Crime unit, urging a thorough investigation to uncover the perpetrators.
In its complaint, Jio Cinema stated, “The complaint is against unknown persons for altering and doctoring the content of Bigg Boss OTT 3 and streaming it on X, formerly known as Twitter. Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 is a highly popular program streamed on Jio Cinema, hosted by Mr. Anil Kapoor, a prominent Bollywood personality.”

The complaint further emphasized, “This incident seems to be just the beginning, as there may be other instances of doctored videos with malicious intent that have not yet come to our attention. These actions appear to be part of a well-planned criminal conspiracy designed to disrupt the program and defame Jio Cinema. The perpetrators aim to undermine the integrity and reputation of both the show and the company by disseminating false and defamatory content.”
The issue has also garnered political attention. Shiv Sena Secretary and Spokesperson, MLA Dr. Manisha Kayande, criticized Bigg Boss OTT 3 for allegedly promoting vulgarity. She expressed her concerns about the negative impact of such content on young minds and plans to request the Minister of Information and Broadcasting to introduce a law for OTT platforms in the current parliamentary session.
