Vicky Kaushal Receives Katrina Kaif’s Approval for His Dance in ‘Tauba Tauba,’ Equates It to Winning an Oscar
Bollywood sensation Vicky Kaushal recently expressed his exhilaration over his wife, Katrina Kaif’s, enthusiastic approval of his dance moves in the viral song ‘Tauba Tauba’ from the upcoming film ‘Bad Newz.’ In an interview with Film Companion, Vicky shared that Katrina’s appreciation felt akin to winning an Oscar.
“Katrina’s approval is like an Oscar. She is just too good at what she does,” Vicky said, highlighting his wife’s commendable dancing skills. He described Katrina as a ‘phenomenal dancer’ and admitted that receiving her praise was a significant achievement for him. Known for dancing only during Ganpati festivities, Vicky found the experience of grooving to ‘Tauba Tauba’ both exhilarating and challenging.
The song ‘Tauba Tauba’ has garnered over 64 million views on YouTube within just 14 days, making it a viral sensation. Vicky credited the choreographers, especially Bosco Martis, for their essential role in the song’s success. Bosco emphasized the importance of acknowledging the choreographers who bring life and style to such performances.
In a press conference in Delhi, Vicky echoed Bosco’s sentiments, stating, “It takes an army, it takes the effort of 300 people to create a song, a film, or anything. They should be applauded equally, if not more.”
‘Bad Newz,’ directed by Anand Tiwari and also featuring Ammy Virk and Neha Dhupia, is set to hit theatres on July 19.
