BTS member Jin recently shared insightful moments from his military tenure in South Korea. Speaking to Weverse Magazine, Jin recounted various experiences, including being affectionately dubbed ‘God’ by his squadmates. He fondly recalled using his military pay to treat fellow soldiers to meals like fried chicken and pizza, fostering camaraderie despite occasional teasing.
Reflecting on a moment of frustration, Jin candidly discussed losing his temper with a younger soldier who joked about mistakes. He emphasized the importance of respecting senior commands, urging accountability even in lighthearted situations.
Upon his discharge in June, Jin described an emotional farewell, noting how his departure moved the entire barracks to tears. He attributed the sentiment not only to his seniority but also to the bonds he forged during service.
Known for his warmth and generosity, Jin’s military journey became a testament to his leadership and popularity among peers. His enlistment, which began in December 2022, marked a milestone as the first BTS member to serve.
Amid ongoing military service for other BTS members, Jin’s reflections offer a glimpse into his transformative experience and the enduring camaraderie within his squad.
