The television actor became emotional while recounting her health journey on the reality show, revealing that she was diagnosed with liver disease despite never having consumed alcohol in her life.
In a poignant moment, Sana broke down while explaining, “I have non-alcoholic hepatitis, a liver disease. I’m one of those people who have never tasted alcohol but have been diagnosed with it. Most people discover their liver disease in its advanced stages, but I consider myself fortunate to have found out early.”
Reflecting on her challenging experience, she added, “In 2021, I didn’t understand what I was going through. There were days when I couldn’t even get out of bed.”
Sana Makbul, also known as Sana Makbul Khan, has had a diverse career spanning Hindi daily soaps and Telugu movies.
