NEET 2024 Results Announced: 67 Candidates Top; Higher Qualifying Marks Noted
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET 2024 UG results. The results are available on the official NTA NEET website (exams.nta.ac.in/NEET) and neet.ntaonline.in. Alongside the scorecards, NTA announced the all-India toppers and category-wise cut-off marks and percentile ranks.
The final answer key, released on June 3, 2024, preceded the results. The NEET UG exam was conducted on May 5, 2024, with the provisional answer key released on May 29 and the objection window closing on June 1, 2024. This year, 67 candidates achieved top ranks, reflecting a competitive examination season.
Significantly, the qualifying marks for NEET 2024 have increased. For the unreserved category, the qualifying range has risen from last year’s 720-137 to 720-164. For OBC, SC, and ST categories, the range has increased from 136-107 to 163-129.
The NTA will prepare the Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) based on qualifying criteria and relevant guidelines from regulatory bodies such as NMC, DGHS, MCC, DCI, and the Ministry of AYUSH.
