The match, held at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, saw brilliant individual performances from Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, and Fazalhaq Farooqi, ensuring Afghanistan’s emphatic victory.
Afghanistan’s innings began with a record partnership between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran. The pair put together a stunning 154-run stand, laying a solid foundation for their team. Gurbaz, serving as the wicketkeeper, displayed his aggressive batting skills, while Zadran provided steady support. Their efforts led Afghanistan to a total of 183/5, a challenging target for Uganda.
