Voting opens for MLS All-Star Game in Columbus at Lower.com Field
Voting for the MLS All-Star starting lineup is now underway as anticipation builds for the highly anticipated clash against Liga MX All-Stars on July 24 at Lower.com Field in Columbus. Fans, players, and media can cast their votes until June 11 to select 12 of the 26 players who will represent MLS in the showdown.
Crew head coach Wilfried Nancy, leading the MLS All-Stars as the coach of the host club, will have the responsibility of choosing 12 additional players for the roster. The final two spots will be determined by MLS commissioner Don Garber.
Lower.com Field, the vibrant new home of the Columbus Crew, will host the MLS All-Star Game for the first time, marking the third such event in Columbus’s history. The previous editions, held in 2000 and 2005, were played at Historic Crew Stadium.
This year’s match continues the tradition of pitting the best of MLS against the top talent from the Mexican League, with MLS emerging victorious in both previous encounters. Before the main event, Lower.com Field will set the stage for the Skills Challenge on July 23, promising a weekend packed with thrilling soccer action.
Don’t miss the chance to shape the MLS All-Star lineup and witness the excitement as the best talents from North America clash on the field this summer.
