Punjabi Singer Karan Aujla Opens Up About Safety Concerns in Music Industry
Popular Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has candidly addressed the escalating threats within the Punjabi music industry, drawing from his own harrowing experiences. In a recent podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Aujla revealed that his house had been targeted multiple times, shedding light on the pressing need for protection, particularly for Punjabi artists.
Expressing the gravity of the situation, Aujla remarked, “This has become a very tough situation right now, all the artists are also going through this. You know what the atmosphere has been like, what is going on.”
Recalling the traumatic incidents, Aujla emphasized the challenges of balancing personal issues with the imperative to ensure safety. He lamented, “I am an artist. I am making songs. What have I done so serious that this is happening? My personal problems are different, then the problems with my career and I should deal with those too. I also have my own life which I am living right now.”
Aujla further revealed the alarming frequency of attacks on his residence, sharing, “I don’t have an option. I’ve been through some like my family has been targeted. I have been targeted. My house has been shot at three or four times. I have seen the bullet pass through me.”
