Shah Rukh Khan Hospitalized for Heat Stroke, Expected to Recover for IPL Final

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was discharged from Ahmedabad’s KD Hospital after suffering from heat stroke and dehydration, India Today reported. SRK’s wife Gauri Khan and close friend Juhi Chawla, accompanied by her husband Jay Mehta, rushed to his side. Chawla reassured fans that Shah Rukh is recovering well and will support Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL final on Sunday.

“Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” Chawla said.

Shah Rukh was in Ahmedabad to watch KKR’s playoff match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with his daughter Suhana Khan, son AbRam, and manager Pooja Dadlani. KKR’s co-owners Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, along with Suhana’s friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Navya Nanda, and Agastya Nanda, also attended. Ahmedabad recorded a sweltering 45.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, rising to 45.9 degrees on Wednesday.

Despite health issues over the years, including injuries sustained during filming, Shah Rukh has consistently bounced back. His resilience is expected to see him cheering for KKR in the final in Chennai on Sunday after their victory over SRH in Qualifier 1.
